Rebecca Addelman

Rebecca Addelman is an L.A.-based writer, comic, and actor with a fully Jewish name even though she's only a half-Jew. She can currently be seen performing stand-up and sketch around the city at venues like the Upright Citizens' Brigade, the Comedy Store, and the Steve Allen Theater. She has also appeared twice at the Los Angeles Comedy Festival.

Rebecca started her career in Toronto, where she was a regular contributor to Much Music's Video on Trial, and her work has been featured on loads of Canadian television: Bravo!, the Comedy Network, and MTV to name a few.

Her short film work has also travelled wide and far...like to the Just for Laughs festival in Montreal (2006) and the Sundance Film Festival (2008).

In 2006, Rebecca was nominated for the Tims Sims Encouragement Fund Award, a national award for Canada's best up-and-coming comedians.

Rebecca's magazine articles have appeared in The Walrus, Maclean's, Orange Life, THIS, and Bust.
